Guide to killing Frost Dragons -- Runescape

FROST DRAGONS (RANGE)

After many hours looking for a guide for killing Frost Dragons with realistic kill rates. I have come up with this range guide to killing frost dragons that is suitable for different players ranging from the wealthy to the poor and the high to low leveled players.

REQUIREMENTS
At least
40 Defense
85 Dungeoneering
39 Prayer

Recommended
70+ Prayer
70 Defence
70+ Range

SETUP
So to start off we need to talk about setup, this is in my opinion the most important aspect of optimising kill rate per hour.
Frost Dragon Range Void Gear Helm: Void ranger helm*
Necklace: Amulet of Ranging
Body: Black Dhide
Legs: Void knight robe*
Boots: Snakeskin boots
Ring: Ring of Life
Shield: Void knight deflector*
Weapon: Rune crossbow
Gloves: Void knight gloves*
Cape: Ava accumulator
Arrow: Broad-Tipped Bolts
*Void Commendation points required obtained from Pest Control/Conquest mini game

The kill rate for this is approximately 120-160 kills per hour dependant on if you use Eagle Eye, Rigour, your skills and how good you lure the dragons to your cannon.

Other Setup
Helm: Void ranger helm* > Ranger Helm > Helm of Neitzlot
Necklace: Amulet of Ranging > Fury > Any of the dungeoneering prayer necklaces
Body: Void knight torso* > Armadyl Chestplate > Black Dhide Body
Legs: Void knight robe* > Armadyl Legs > Black Dhide Legs
Boots: Ranger boots > Snakeskin boots
Ring: Ring of Life > Ring of Wealth > Explorer Ring
Shield: Void knight deflector* > Dragonfire Shield > Anti Dragon shield > Granite Shield
Weapon: Rune C'bow
Gloves: Void knight gloves > Barrows Gloves
Cape: Ava Alerter > Ava Accumulator > Soul Wars Cape
Arrow: Broad-Tipped Bolts

*A total of 4 pieces of Void equipment are required for the 15% range strength boost. One of the four must include the void ranger helm.

Prayer
Protect from Mage -- (Must be on at all times)
Rigour -- 20% boost (Bought from dungeoneering)
Eagle Eye -- 15% boost

Getting There
Best way as you can see from my inventory is to teleport to house in Rimmington. Then run south east to the dungeon passing a altar and obelisk to recharge on the way.

But you can use the explorer ring to teleport to cabbage patch and run south. (Longer)

Inventory
Cannonballs -- 600 per trip
Ranging Potion (4)
Prayer Potion(4) x 2-4 depend on your prayer level and bonus
War Tortoise Pouch > Spirit Terrorbird
Teleport to House (If using Rimmington Teleport method)
Teleport to Bank (Fast banking)
Explorer Ring (If using Cabbage Patch method)
Antifire(4)

Luring
Basically for luring think of it as this X if your cannon is in the centre you need the frost dragon to be at the lines of an X.

This would ensure your cannon to hit 2-4 every round, doing more damage than if the dragon is on the + line as it only hits once per round.

Storing
For storing I generally try to spam click them bones using them on the familiar to store them, however if you do not feel comfortable rapidly clicking then have a full inventory and leave the resource dungeon and use the store all option.

Rewards

Things to pick up:
Starved Ancient Effigy
Dragonic Visage (1/3000) -------- I got one after killing around 600 but I am very lucky.
Frost Dragon Bones
Rune Longsword
Charms(Excluding Gold)

This concludes my guide to killing frost dragons.
Enjoy and have fun >.<
